The Warradale Hotel 11/2/14

Deciding where to start my search for Australia's best Schnitzel took some time, however I found that The Warradale Hotel in Adelaide tweeted a deal I could'nt miss. As it was around lunch time I decided to give it a go.

Known as Tight Ass Tuesday the Schnitzels are $10 in the front bar area, and I was shocked with what I found.

I ordered the Porterhouse Schnitzel with Mushroom Gravy, you will find later I prefer beef over chicken Schnitty's, it took about 6 minutes to come to my table which is good for a front bar.

Scoring System out of 10

Schnitzel out of 5
Gravy - 1
Chips - 2
Salad -1
Service - 1

Schnitzel - really tender, 1.5cm thick, nice season to crumb and not over cooked. Keeping in mind this was only $10 and great value for money it scores 4.5 out of 5

Gravy - good flavour and a good amount, it scores 1

Chips - cooked just right, probably could have had a few more, but its only a $10 meal they score 1.5

Salad - Small salad served, didnt expect one for $10, greek style, it scores 1

Service - Guy behind the bar seemed friendly and my order was delivered fairly quickly. Service scores a 1.

Total 9/10

This may seem a little high, and yes I was shocked, but I scored this on value as it was only $10 and it was really good. The Schnitty was tender and chips where cooked perfectly.

Would highly recommend.
